FIIs cut HDFC Bank stake to 39.40% in September quarter

Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) reduced their holding in HDFC Bank by 2.43 percentage points during Q2 FY27, from 41.83% in June to 39.40% in September. Domestic institutional investors increased their stake from 41.92% to 43.44%, while other public shareholders' holdings rose to 16.97%. HDFC Bank shares have declined around 30% so far in 2026.
