The island nation of Fiji has reopened its borders on Wednesday to international tourists for the first time in nearly two years. "Today, we are proud and more importantly prepared to welcome the first tourists to fly to Fiji in almost two years," Fiji Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama said. Fiji shut its borders in March 2020 due to COVID-19.
