Fiji wins its first ever Olympic medal

Fiji's rugby team won the nation's first-ever​ Olympic gold medal after a 43-7 victory over Great Britain in the Rugby 7s final on Friday. The team, whose members survived a cyclone earlier in 2016, includes a prison warden and a hotel bellboy. The nation, with a population of around 9,00,000, has participated in 12 Summer Olympics starting from 1956.
