An FIR has been lodged against 2 French filmmakers for trespassing into the protected Jarawa tribal reserve in the Andaman islands to shoot a documentary on the tribe. If proved, the charges can lead to 3 years-in-jail. The case was registered on Oct-19 after the Andaman Adim Janjati Vikas Samiti (AAJVS) reported the matter, though the shooting happened during March-April.
