Finance Ministry to meet public and rural banks' heads ahead of strike

Finance Ministry has called a meeting of public sector banks and regional rural banks' chief executives on Monday, ahead of the three-day nationwide strike by bank unions from September 28. The meeting has been called to discuss measures to continue banking operations and essential services during the strike. The United Forum of Bank Unions is demanding a five-day banking week.
