Finland is now preparing to introduce a tourist tax. The government is planning to allow municipalities to raise revenue from visitors. The Ministry of Finance is currently drafting the proposal. The plan would give local authorities the option to levy a charge on both domestic and foreign tourists staying in paid accommodation.
