Payments-focused fintech firm Bolt Financial is buying crypto-services startup Wyre Payments in a $1.5 billion deal, Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday. This would be the largest merger in the crypto sector that didn't involve a special purpose acquisition company, according to research firm Dealogic. Wyre last year connected to the Visa network after joining its Fintech Fast Track Program.
