RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das has said fintech initiatives and startups are important segments of aspirational India. He said this in a meeting with select fintech entities, including agritechs, and some of their associations today. He also advised fintechs to pay close attention to governance, data protection, regulatory compliance and risk mitigation frameworks, among other things.
