An FIR has been filed against the CET (Common Entrance Test) conducting officer after students were allegedly asked to remove 'janeu' (a sacred thread) at a centre in Karnataka's Shivamogga. "This incident is very unfortunate. It happened not only in Shivamogga but also in Bidar," Karnataka Higher Education Minister Dr MC Sudhakar said, adding, "We won't accept this."
