An FIR has been registered against Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate and Sanjay Raut's brother Sunil for making objectionable comments against Suvarna Karanje from CM Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena. Raut had allegedly said Sena couldn't find any male candidate, so they fielded a "goat" against him. He further called Karanje a "scapegoat" and suggested she should be "slaughtered" on November 20.
