A First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged against socio-spiritual influencer Meenakshi Shehrawat and the event organiser for making derogatory comments about Mahatma Gandhi. During a program in Udupi on January 4, Shehrawat reportedly stated, "Gandhiji has been the reason for the birth of Pakistan along with Jinnah, so we will not consider him the father of the nation."
