SSP Mohali Vivek Sheel Soni on Tuesday ordered the registration of an FIR against Sub Inspector Balwinder Singh for shooting a man in his thigh during a scuffle in Punjab's Dera Bassi. The FIR against Singh has been registered under sections 324, 354, 336 and 509 of the IPC. The incident that took place Sunday night was caught on camera.
