A fire broke out on Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, on Sunday, Tanzania's National Parks service (TANAPA) said. "The fire is still going on and firefighters from TANAPA, other government institutions and locals are continuing with the efforts to contain it," a TANAPA official said. The altitude of the fire is making efforts to extinguish it difficult, a report said.
