Fired employees or those who've resigned to be paid final settlement in 2 days: Labour codes

The new labour codes mandate employers to clear entire full and final settlement of employees within two working days from their last working day. This rule, mentioned in Clause 17 of Chapter III in Code on Wages, applies to employees who've been fired or who've resigned. It also mandates salary payments for previous month before seventh day of next month.
