Two accused were arrested for involvement in gunfire incident outside Salman Khan's house in Mumbai from Gujarat on 15 April. They admitted to being associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and claimed to have committed the crime for money. Bishnoi's brother, Anmol Bishnoi, took responsibility for the incident. The motive is claimed to be the 1998 Black Buck poaching case.
