First antimatter particle was discovered by a 27-year-old

American physicist Carl David Anderson, who was born on September 3, 1905, discovered positron, the first known antimatter particle when he was 27 years old. Anderson won the Nobel Prize in 1936, four years after his discovery of the positron. Anderson also discovered the particle muon in the year 1936 alongside Seth Neddermeyer.
