Russian military has said the first day of Ukraine invasion was "successful". Meanwhile, Ukraine Presidency said Russian forces have captured Chernobyl. Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said the country had no other option but to order what he has called a special operation against Ukraine, saying all of Russia's previous attempts to change the security situation had come to nothing.
