Fourteen remote villages in Chhattisgarh's Naxal-hit Bastar region will see hoisting of the Tricolour for the first time since India gained freedom. The hoisting will take place on Friday as part of the Independence Day celebrations. The villages include Gunjeparti, Pujarikanker, Bhimaram, Korcholi, Kotpalli, Kutul, Bedmakoti, Padamkot, Kandulnar, Nelangur, Pangur, Rainar, Uskawaya and Nulkatong.
