Southern Cryonics has cryogenically frozen its first client, an 80-year-old man from Sydney, at its Holbrook facility. The process, costing $170,000, involved cooling the body to minus 200 degrees Celsius for potential future revival. This marks the Southern Hemisphere's first known cryonics preservation. The facility can currently hold four bodies, with plans for expansion.
