The first supermoon of the year will appear in the night sky on July 3. This supermoon will be brighter than others as the Moon will be just 361,934 km away from Earth in comparison to its average distance of 382,900 km. The July supermoon is called the buck moon because antlers of male deer normally grow around this time.
