Nirmala Sitharaman said the government will keep the fiscal deficit within revised estimates despite supplementary demands of ₹2.81 lakh crore. The FY27 deficit target is 4.3% of GDP, continuing fiscal consolidation. She also assured adequate fertiliser supply and said the Economic Stabilisation Fund will help tackle global headwinds.
