Owner of a Japanese sushi restaurant chain, Kiyoshi Kimura, Monday bought a 180-kilogram bluefin tuna fish for over Rs 23 lakh, in annual celebratory bidding at the first auction of the year in Tokyo. Kimura was the top bidder for the fourth year in a row. Notably, Pacific bluefin has been designated as a species threatened by extinction.
