Three fishermen collected around 80 kilograms of 'whale vomit' floating on the shores of Oman's Qurayat province last week. 'Whale vomit', also known as 'ambergris', is an expensive wax-like substance, secreted in the intestines of a sperm whale, used for manufacturing perfumes. The 'whale vomit' collected by these fishermen is expected to fetch around $2.5 million (around ₹16.7 crore).
