Fitbit sued in Australia over refund policy on faulty devices

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) began court proceedings against Fitbit for misleading consumers about faulty devices. Fitbit has come under fire for claiming that consumers won't get refunded unless they return faulty products within 45 days of purchase, which is against Australian Consumer Law. The ACCC said that 58 consumers were allegedly misled by Fitbit.
