Five new sites added to India's UNESCO Tentative List, total increases to 78

Five new sites and transnational proposals have been added to India's UNESCO Tentative List, taking the total Indian sites to 78. The sites include Buddhist murals of Bagh Cave Paintings, Group of Temples of the Chambal Valley, the Gupta-era Udaigiri Caves, and tribal legacy of Ginnorgarh. It also includes Sites of Satyagraha, a transnational proposal connecting India and South Africa.
