Five people, including four officials of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, were on Wednesday sentenced to a four-year jail term in the street lighting scam. The street lighting scam is one of ten corruption cases related to the 2010 Commonwealth Games. According to the charge sheet, the accused caused a loss of Rs 1.43 crore to the state exchequer.
