According to a government report, repair of the water quality of Australia's Great Barrier Reef will cost $8.2 billion over the next decade. The amount is eight times of what has already been set aside. This is part of the Reef 2050 Plan which, if implemented, will keep the reef from being included in the 'world heritage in danger' list.
