The Flipkart Group on Tuesday announced it has acquired Bengaluru-based augmented reality (AR) startup Scapic. Flipkart said the acquisition will help provide deeper camera experiences, virtual storefronts and new opportunities for brand advertising on its platform. Scapic's team will join Flipkart, which has made its second acquisition this month after buying the IP of gaming startup Mech Mocha.
