The Chief People Officer of e-commerce giant Flipkart, Krishna Raghavan, said that no mass layoffs are happening at the company. "We do responsible hiring. We don't hire in thousands and then land up figuring out that we've too many people on board and resort to extreme measures," he said. Recently, Flipkart's competitor Amazon announced that it'll lay off 9,000 employees.
