Flipkart is facing preliminary investigation by Directorate General of Goods and Services Tax Intelligence (DGGI) over alleged altering of billing structure to reduce its GST liability. "We will send a show-cause notice for prosecution once we have accumulated full proof," said DGGI official. Flipkart allegedly recast marketplace fees from vendors as transport charges to claim lower GST rates.
