Homegrown e-commerce firm Flipkart has invested about ₹452 crore into its payments arm PhonePe, according to filings. In October last year, Flipkart had said it would invest ₹3,500 crore ($500 million) to expand PhonePe. Last week, PhonePe claimed the top spot on the UPI (Unified Payments Interface) network, leaving Paytm and Google Tez behind.
