Bengaluru-based e-commerce startup Flipkart on Tuesday shut down eBay India, more than a year after acquiring it, when it raised $1.4 billion from Tencent, Microsoft and others. The website has stopped taking new orders and is redirecting users to Flipkart's website. "We will be launching a new value platform starting with refurbished goods very soon," Flipkart said in a statement.
