A consumer court in Mumbai has ordered Flipkart and a seller to pay ₹10,000 for refusing to take back a product, which as per the complainant was substandard. The court said not taking back the product because of a "no return policy" amounted to unfair trade practice. They were also ordered to refund the cost of the product with interest.
