Flower and fruit prices soar amid Bengaluru festive rush

Bengaluru markets witnessed a rush of shoppers ahead of Ayudha Pooja and Vijayadashami as flower and fruit prices soared. Sevanthi, jasmine, roses and Kanakambara recorded sharp price increases, while fruits also became costlier. Traders cited poor monsoon rains and reduced crop yields as factors affecting supply.
