Congress leader Manish Tewari said Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had stated new Income Tax Bill, 2025 will be simpler but it is more complex than the previous one. He added previous bill had 296 sections and 5 schedules while new bill has over 500 sections and 14 schedules. Sitharaman introduced new Income Tax Bill, 2025 in Lok Sabha on Thursday.
