Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Wednesday launched the NPS Vatsalya scheme. The scheme, which is part of the existing National Pension Scheme, will allow parents to invest in a pension account for their children. "My appeal to all parents is to gift money for NPS Vatsalya on occasions like birthdays or other occasions," Sitharaman added.
