Food firms step up hiring for safety & compliance roles amid FSSAI scrutiny: Report

Large packaged-food companies, restaurant chains and hotels are hiring more staff for food safety, quality checks, audits and compliance as regulators increase inspections, The Economic Times reported. PepsiCo, Bikanervala, DLF Hospitality and Hilton have advertised related jobs on LinkedIn recently. This comes as FSSAI steps up checks on restaurants, hotels and packaged-food makers.
