According to ICRA, year-on-year inflation in India’s F&B segment may rise further, crossing the 4% mark in April 2026 from 3.7% in March 2026. The increase is likely to be led by vegetables, edible oils, and ready-made food segments. ICRA said the impact of unrest in Middle East will continue to feed into prices of alternate fuels, airfares, and restaurants.
