Former Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp questioned whether FIFA's hydration break rule genuinely serves the interests of players or serves as an advertising window. "Football is being held hostage by executives ensconced in air-conditioned offices," he said. "A World Cup match should flow like a river. Instead, we build dams right in the middle so commercials can get through," he added.
