Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that major foreign COVID-19 vaccine manufacturers were demanding indemnity and sovereign immunity waiver to supply vaccines in India. The government made it clear that they are welcome to do business here but on "India's terms", he added. The conditions put forth by these companies strengthened India's plan of developing indigenous vaccines, he further said.
