Foreign investors "notably reduced" their holdings in Indian consumer stocks in the three months through September, according to Morgan Stanley. Of the stocks under their coverage, Trent, Titan and BrainBees Solutions saw the largest reductions. The dip comes despite a surge in consumer spending driven by the festive season and GST rate cuts.
