Foreign investors turn net sellers again, pull out ₹13,138 crore in Sept so far

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) have sold Indian equities worth ₹13,138 crore in the first half of September, according to NSDL data. This comes after FPIs turned net buyers in July and August, with inflows worth ₹20,200 crore and ₹29,631 crore, respectively. With the latest withdrawal, the total outflow by FPIs has climbed to ₹2.37 lakh crore so far in 2026.
