Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei accused the foreign media of using the new coronavirus outbreak in Iran to discourage Iranians from voting in the general elections. Two days ahead of polls, Iran confirmed its first cases of coronavirus. The voting was held on Friday and reports suggests the voter turnout may be lower as compared to the previous polls.
