Following a recent slump in visitors, India saw a 10% rise in the foreign tourist arrivals this year. Tourism minister Mahesh Sharma said that more than 32 lakh foreign tourists visited India between May and October this year. The country's tourism industry had suffered a big blow after the Delhi gangrape in December 2012.
