Randeep Guleria, former director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi, has taken voluntary retirement. Reports said Guleria served the institute for over 30 years. His five-and-a-half-year tenure as the director of the institute ended on September 23. He applied for Voluntary Retirement Scheme. Guleria had joined AIIMS as an assistant professor in Department of Medicine in 1992.
