Former Gujarat Home Minister and former Amul chairman Vipul Chaudhary was arrested by the Gujarat Crime Investigation Department (CID) on Sunday for his alleged involvement in a bonus scam of ₹14.8 crore. According to police, Chaudhary had allegedly conspired with Mehsana Dudhsagar union officials to siphon off money from fund meant for paying bonus to workers.
