Former Attorney General of India, Soli Jehangir Sorabjee, passed away on Friday at the age of 91. He had reportedly contracted COVID-19 and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Delhi. Sorabjee became the Attorney General of India first from 1989-90 and then again from 1998-2004. He also served as the Solicitor General of India from 1977-1980.
