Retired IAS officer Dr CV Ananda Bose has been appointed as the Governor of West Bengal, President Droupadi Murmu's office said. He'll be replacing La Ganesan, who assumed charge of the office after former Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar was elected as India's 14th Vice-President. He's previously served as Chief Secretary to Government of India and Principal Secretary to Chief Minister's office.
