English Premier League side Chelsea's former striker Didier Drogba, who hails from the Ivory Coast, has announced his retirement from professional football. The 40-year-old scored 164 goals in 381 appearances over two spells with Chelsea, helping them win the Premier League four times and the Champions League in 2012. Drogba won the Premier League Golden Boot in 2006-07 and 2009-10.
