Former Team India fast bowler Ajit Agarkar has applied for the national selector's job and is said to be in race to replace MSK Prasad as the chairman of selectors. Agarkar, who has served as the chairman of Mumbai senior team, took 288 wickets in ODIs and 58 wickets in Tests. Laxman Sivaramakrishnan and Nayan Mongia have also applied.
